Our Newbie Real Estate Students Instructions
Investor newbies have come to me over the years ready to go, only to find they must wait until friday to get started. This page is intended to get you up and running so you will be able to understand some fo the advanced students you will meet.
We began as a book club for the discussion of 'Rich Dad/Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki. I strongly recommend reading this book. I also recommend 'The Cash Flow Quadrant' and his 'Guide to Investing.'
Please do not pay to attend any seminars about investing. Virtually all of them are licensed through one central 'clearing house' company which does nothing but upsell. This means you will be told to come to a free seminar, then told you will get the 'whole story' at the next one which costs thousands, only to be upsold for yet more thousands at the next.
A number of students of mine over the years have spent in excess of a hundred thousand dollars only to be told to come to my meeting. All of our classes are free. Our weekly meeting is also free. We never charge money for education. We only educate you because you can find deals or partner with us potentially in future deals. If you had any idea how much money was involved in a single real estate deal you could easily understand why this is our policy. We also don't bind you into any contracts. Everything with us is voluntary and free.
If you come to the friday night game and want to explore dealmaking further, I recommend you first learn what a deal is and how to find it. The
hunter
training course is designed to teach you that skill. As all of our classes, it is free of charge; but you must come to at least one newbie meeting on friday in order to attend. Everything we teach is done in a sequence.
